What This Calculator Does
The Time Duration Calculator computes the exact time difference between any two times. It automatically handles cases where the end time is on the next day (overnight shifts, long events, etc.).
How the Calculation Works
- Convert both Start and End times into total minutes since midnight.
- Calculate the difference in minutes.
- If the difference is negative (End time earlier than Start time), add 24 hours (1440 minutes) to account for overnight periods.
- Convert the result into Hours, Minutes, and Seconds for easy reading.
- Also provide total hours, total minutes, and total seconds for precise calculations.
